World Heritage Insight Walk I: Ideas and Innovations 

In the footsteps of Leibniz from Zellerfeld into the Upper Harz Water Management System. The walk begins at the Zellerfeld Mint (Bornhardtstr. 11, Clausthal-Zellerfeld), takes you past the St. Salvatoris Church and the Eschenbacher Teiche ponds and ends at the Upper Harz Mining Museum.

WatersideWalk Sperberhaier Damm

The "Sperberhaier Damm" aqueduct is the most gigantic construction of the Upper Harz Water Management System and is at the heart of the "Dammgraben" ditch system, which is named after it.

The four-level cascade of the Hirschler and Pfauenteich ponds can be found in what was for many years the most important area for mining in the Harz.
