The World Heritage Shuttle –
Visiting Goslar's World Heritage sustainably
With the World Heritage Shuttle you can visit numerous World Heritage places of interest in Goslar in a comfortable and environmentally friendly manner. Bus number 809 connects the Imperial Palace, the Rammelsberg Mine, the World Heritage Information Centre in the historic Town Hall (opens April 2022) and many other stops. Daily – on 365 days of the year – every 30 minutes.
An overview of the 13 stops:
Brusttuch (Marketplace with World Heritage Information Centre) → Imperial Palace → Rammelsberg-Haus → Rammelsberg Mining Museum (drop-off) → Rammelsberg Mining Museum (pick-up) → Feuergraben (access to Historic Town Centre) → Werenbergstraße → Zwingerwall (town defences) → Schützenallee → Aquantic (swimming pool) → Breites Tor → Mauerstraße → Jakobikirchhof (town centre / shopping) → Marktstraße → Brusttuch (Marketplace)
The World Heritage Shuttle runs from May to October daily from 10 AM to 6 PM and from November to April from 10 AM to 5 PM. For guests staying overnight in the Harz the shuttle is free of charge with the holiday ticket HATIX, which is issued with the guest card.
