Hommage Hall in the historic town hall
The Hall of Homage in Goslar Town Hall was set up as a council meeting room between 1505 and 1520. It is a unique gem of late Gothic spatial art: its walls, ceiling and even the window recesses are completely lined with panel paintings. Each individual painting is a high-quality work of art that blends in with the overwhelming overall impression. After years of restoration work, the Hall of Homage is now protected from decay by sophisticated security, climate control and lighting technology. The town hall and the Hall of Homage bear witness to a time of economic prosperity and power for the historic imperial city of Goslar in the Middle Ages.
Multimedia show
A multimedia production of the Hall of Homage is now available. The offer can initially be booked for groups and as part of the guided tour of the town hall. From summer 2024, individual guests will also be able to enjoy the multimedia experience. The history of the Huldigunssaal with all its myths and secrets will be brought to life interactively via a multimedia table.
To protect and preserve the Hall of Homage, the original can be viewed through a glass window.
