town history, geology and mineralogy
The extensive collection at the Goslar Museum provides you with fascinating insights into the thousand-year history of the town as well as the geology and mineralogy of the region. In addition to outstanding objects such as the bronze Krodo altar (12th century), the Goslar Evangeliary (13th century), the Goslar "Bergkanne" (1477) and the original eagle from the Goslar marketplace (14th century), the exhibition in the 16th century building focuses on the everyday lives of the people of Goslar.
