The processing of the data entered in the contact form takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out before the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

Contact form for the press mailing list
If you register for the press mailing list using the contact form in order to receive information (press releases) from the UNESCO World Heritage Foundation in the Harz Mountains, your details from the request form will be processed, including the contact details you provided there. The following personal data are processed:

  •     Institution (voluntary information)


The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR) and the consent can be revoked informally and free of charge at any time.

Comment function on this website
For the comment function on this page, in addition to your comment, information about the time the comment was created, your e-mail address and, if you do not post anonymously, the username you have chosen will be saved.

Unless otherwise stated in our data protection declaration, we process the data of the users as long as they communicate with us within the social networks and platforms, e.g. B. Write articles on our online presence or send us messages.

We would like to point out that information on the respective processing and the options for objection (opt-out) can be found on the websites of the providers listed below. Also in the case of requests for information and the assertion of user rights, we point out that these can be most effectively asserted with the providers.
